Good day,
I would suggest that the Student Union propose that more assistance be provided for international students. Being an international student myself, I believe it would have been extremely helpful if there was, perhaps a checklist of the process one must undergo to complete enrolment, registration, id card processing, student union signups, NUS, senate library signups, and so on. I am sure this will not only assist with the queues at student advice centres, but also with international student administration service queries, at the beginning of every term.
In addition, if we could also consider a section (or if you like a seaprate checklist) for students that may be under scholarship arrangements - other things that they would have to complete.
If there is an existing checklist, then please consider its revival, or if i happened to have missed it, then please disregard the idea :)
many thanks for the opportunity to put forward idea.

I agree- as a candidate for the International Student's Officer and an international student myself, I believe there could be more guidance given to international students in terms of registration and settling in, encouraging them to join clubs and having all the opportunities easily accessible. Checklists, an feedback system and a stronger community will all make the transition to the UK easier for international students here! Best Regards, Gina Osman
Surely it's something the University does??! Like the hundreds of people employed in Registry!
Where is my petition about leaving the nUS! ??
