Birkbeck Careers Event
On Saturday 13th April 2019 Birkbeck Psychological Society, alongside Birkbeck’s Psychology department arranged its annual Careers Event for Birkbeck Students to hear from various experts in the field of psychology. This was a chance for psychology students to find out the diverse and exciting paths available to them after their degree, and how they can pursue them.
This year, students were able to hear from representatives from neuroscience, clinical psychology, educational psychology and the British Psychological Society. Each explained why they chose their particular area, their own career path and the steps they took in their profession.
The event was well attended and was followed by drinks where the students and academics got an opportunity to mingle with one another.
