WHO ARE WE?
- We are the Basketball Club, one of the growing number of Birkbeck Students' Union Sports Clubs and a proud part of Team Birkbeck!
WHAT DO WE DO?
- We play casual, recreational and competitive Basketball.
- We compete in the London Universities Sports Leagues (LUSL), holding regular fixtures against other London institutions both home and away across the weekends.
WHEN DO WE MEET?
Our training and recreational sessions for this term:
- Haggerston School from 2 pm to 4 pm on 30th October, 6th November and 20th November.
- 13th November still to be confirmed.
We play alost every weekend during term, across the city against rival institutions!
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
- Join the group! The best way to have the most up to date information on how to get involved, and when we can return to play, is to join as a member.
- We also have a Facebook group, search us up!

Birkbeck Students' Union groups are only open to full membership for enrolled Birkbeck students. Other membership categories may exist depending on the group's constitution and the approval of the SU's Executive Committee.
In additional to the general term and conditions for Birkbeck Students' Union organised and managed events, all our Clubs, Societies, Networks and Projects may apply additonal conditions on attendance. Examples can be, and not limited to, membership of a club or society, students from one programme or class, self-organised groups and liberation campaigns limited to participants on a self-defining basis into the group membership (e.g. LGBTQ+ students or women only).
All attendees at an event must register in advance and ensure they bring along a copy of their e-ticket and their Birkbeck student ID.
