Sunday saw a whole raft of students new and old flock to campus for this year's Freshers Fayre. For the first time ever, Birkbeck Students' Union teamed up with University staff to put on a Freshers Fayre outdoors, under the huge marquee in Torrington Square.

The weather held up - despite predictions, and 40+ University of London and Birkbeck societies came and made the day a roaring success.

Huge thanks goes to everyone who came. and we really hope you found some brilliant societies to join to help make your time at Birkbeck as fun and interesting as it can be.

We hope to see you all again throughout what promises to be an amazing Autumn Term here at Birkbeck!
